Responsibilities:

• Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant

• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients

• Access customer needs and preferences; make recommendations

• Interact with customers, take orders, and upsell while nurturing an excellent guest experience

• Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for all discrepancies in the final drawer tally

• Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in our manual to keep drink costs at a minimum

• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies

• Adapt to new environments and grasp venue offerings quickly

• Ensure the bar is organized and stocked in accordance with our venue guidelines

• Keep the area clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing storage areas, and emptying the garbage

• Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room always satisfied
  
  Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience working as a Cocktail Bartender is required

• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar is required

• Classic cocktail knowledge is preferred

• Wine and beer knowledge an asset

• Smart Serve required – comply with all regulations

• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills required

• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills

• Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business dictates
