Bartender
Responsibilities:
Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages for bar and restaurant
Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each client and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients
Access customer needs and preferences; make recommendations
Interact with customers, take orders, and upsell while nurturing an excellent guest experience
Maintain an accurate cash drawer throughout the night and be able to account for all discrepancies in the final drawer tally
Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in our manual to keep drink costs at a minimum
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
Adapt to new environments and grasp venue offerings quickly
Ensure the bar is organized and stocked in accordance with our venue guidelines
Keep the area clean by wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping, removing soiled glassware, scrubbing storage areas, and emptying the garbage
Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room always satisfied
Requirements1-2 years of experience working as a Cocktail Bartender is required
Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar is required
Classic cocktail knowledge is preferred
Wine and beer knowledge an asset
Smart Serve required – comply with all regulations
Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills required
Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
Flexible to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business dictates
License/Certification:
• Smart Serve (required)
Language:
• Fluent in English
• Spanish (preferred but not required)
